We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, support financial reporting, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and practical knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, taxation, and financial documentation.
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations,
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements.
- Assist with VAT, TDS, tax, and payroll activities.
- Monitor expenses, cash flow, and payment schedules.
- Support internal and externa; audits.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, auditors, and internal teams.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Understanding of VAT, TDS, taxation, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Swastik, QuickBooks, or ERP.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Nepalese tax and accounting regulations.
- Experience assisting with financial audits.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting management systems.
- Knowledge of payroll processing.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
